I'm at my freezing cold college computer lab again. Was just at Public Speaking class two hours ago where i made a fool out of myself. The topic of our individual presentations was 'Myself' which i did not prepare for and was not expecting to do today. When the tutor called out my name, i nearly got a heartattack! >_<
So, i tentatively went up there and well, i didn't freeze but i don't think and talk on the spot very well either. i guess i took that 'think before you talk' quote a little too seriously when i heard it and this is the outcome. needless to say, i screwed up and the tutor was pretty mad at me. as she was scolding and berating me i just stood there [i nearly smiled but, for the sake of my life, i figured i'd better not] and accepted it and afterwards said "i'm sorry". thankfully, she's willing to give me another chance to redo and present my speech tomorrow at 2.30pm [wish me luck, guys! >_<] and she now remembers my name for the wrong reason...
but the funny thing is, i felt like laughing after the whole 'ordeal' instead of moping..sure, i feel dumb and all but, at the end of the day, it's my fault for not preparing and not taking the initiative. ah well, this is what my screwed up mentality is about..when stuff happens, you laugh your brains out. >p
